It was about -15 Celsius yesterday, enough for this to happen :D I've actually never done it before..

When it's cold enough, it was -15 Celcius when I did this, just boil water, when it boils, take the pot outside and throw the water in the air :) I'll make a film with it when it's cold enough next time :)

is that how they make fog? i mean i know you use dry ice, is it possible to use this instead?

I don't think so, this happens in an instant, then blows away =) All at once, the rest freezes.
